A little bit about me...

With over 20 years of experience as a businesswoman, investor, and real estate professional, Masuda Rahmati is a trusted expert in residential and commercial real estate. Based in San Diego, she specializes in high-end properties in Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, and Carlsbad, offering clients deep market knowledge, expert negotiation skills, and exceptional service. Fluent in English and Farsi, Masuda effectively serves a diverse clientele, ensuring seamless transactions and personalized support.

Masuda’s journey is one of resilience and triumph. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, she overcame immense challenges after immigrating to the U.S., earning a degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Psychology from the University of Santa Cruz. Her personal experiences fuel her passion for advocacy, particularly in education and women’s empowerment. As President of Change Makers of the World, USA, she has spent over 40 years fighting for Afghan girls’ access to education, even in the most difficult circumstances. Her efforts have earned recognition from the U.S. Congress for her dedication to promoting self-confidence, education, and empowerment.

A symbol of courage, Masuda was crowned Mrs. Afghanistan in 2005, defying threats from the Taliban to represent Afghan women on a global stage. Her powerful memoir, Pain to Power: My Journey from Afghanistan to America in Pursuit of Freedom, chronicles her escape, survival, and relentless pursuit of justice and opportunity for others.

Beyond her real estate career, Masuda’s commitment to giving back is unwavering—she donates a portion of her referral commissions to Change Makers of the World to support education for Afghan girls. A devoted wife and mother, she finds balance in her love for photography, capturing sunsets and the ocean as a reflection of her appreciation for beauty and nature. Whether guiding clients through seamless transactions or advocating for meaningful change, Masuda leads with integrity, compassion, and an unwavering drive to uplift others.
