A little bit about me...

Rich Kushner brings a unique combination of corporate, sales, investment, and real estate experience to his clients.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Atlanta, Rich earned a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia. He began his career working with Fortune 500 companies, including Norfolk Southern and GE Consulting. He later earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Colorado and worked in loan administration for Wachovia, now Wells Fargo.

While working in the corporate world, Rich discovered his talent for sales. Working nights and weekends for AAA Auto Club, he became a top producer and one year was ranked the #1 salesperson in the Southeastern United States.

Rich also became certified by the Council of American Building Officials (CABO) and launched a home inspection business. As Atlanta’s real estate market grew, he began investing in single-family homes, eventually building a portfolio of 31 properties.

In 2001, Rich moved to San Diego. He earned his Appraiser Trainee license in 2003 and his California Real Estate License in 2004. He began working with mentor Kevin Burke at RE/MAX, gaining valuable insight into real estate contracts, risk management, and transactions.

Rich became a Broker Associate in 2008 and continued building his own real estate investment portfolio. Today, his investments include properties in Atlanta and South Florida, giving him firsthand experience as both a real estate professional and property owner.

Committed to continuing education and providing exceptional value, Rich has earned several professional designations, including Senior Real Estate Specialist, Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Certified Probate and Trust Specialist, and Certified Distressed Property Expert.

Beyond real estate, Rich believes in giving back. He donates 10% of his commissions to a charity of his client’s choice.

Rich lives in Carmel Valley with his wife, Jenny and German Shepherd, Franky.
